1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WebEducationLab(hereinafter "the Platform"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part, you should not use the Platform.
These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("the User") and WebEducationLab ("we").
2. Description of Service
- Interactive courses across multiple disciplines (programming, business, marketing, finance, nutrition, languages, etc.).
- A 24/7 AI-powered virtual teacher.
- Practical exercises automatically evaluated by AI.
- Course completion certificates.
- Gamification system (points, achievements, streaks).
- Community forum for student interaction.
3. Registration and Account
- You must create an account with truthful and up-to-date information to access services.
- You are responsible for maintaining your password confidentiality and all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
- Minimum age to create an account is 13 years. Users residing in the European Economic Area under 16 need parental or legal guardian consent.
4. AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated content is educational and informational and does not constitute professional advice (medical, financial, legal, etc.).
- While we strive for quality and accuracy, content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on course content.
- Exercises are evaluated by AI automatically; grades are indicative.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
- The Platform may offer free and paid content (premium plans, individual courses, etc.).
- Prices are displayed in the indicated currency and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by external providers (Stripe, MercadoPago, etc.) subject to their own terms.
- Refund policy: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 25% of the purchased content. Contact contact@webeducationlab.com.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your profile; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
6. Certificates
- Certificates issued by WebEducationLab certify course completion within the Platform.
- They are not official degrees and do not replace professional, academic, or government certifications.
- We reserve the right to revoke certificates obtained through fraud or violation of these terms.
7. User Conduct
- Do not use the Platform for illegal purposes.
- Do not post offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or hate-inciting content in the forum.
- Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or restricted areas.
- Do not copy, distribute, or commercialize course content without express authorization.
- Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract content.
- Do not impersonate another person or entity.
Violations may result in account suspension or deletion without notice or refund.
8. Intellectual Property
- All Platform content (text, design, code, logos, trademarks, courses, and educational materials) is owned by WebEducationLab or its licensors.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal and educational use.
- Content you post on the forum remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on the Platform.
- Reproduction, distribution, or modification of content without written authorization is expressly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
- We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform.
- Our total liability, to the maximum extent permitted by law, is limited to the amount you have paid for services in the last 12 months.
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice. Consult a professional before making important decisions based on our content (especially health, financial, or legal matters).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebEducationLab, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.
11. Availability and Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time.
- We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified via email or platform notice.
- Continued use after changes are published implies acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- EU/EEA users: consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. You may file claims with your local courts or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
- Argentine users: Argentine consumer protection (Law 24.240) and data protection (Law 25.326) laws apply.
- US users: laws of the user's state of residence apply.
- Rest of the world: disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, failing which, through international arbitration.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties will attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through direct communication. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, either party may resort to the legal mechanisms available under section 12.
14. General Provisions
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remainder shall continue in effect.
- Failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WebEducationLab regarding use of the Platform.
